"Miraculous" images of religious figures.

This is the sort of silliness humans will engage in when they are searching for some sort of sign:

Air traveller believes he sees "Allah" written in the clouds in Arabic.

A Texas man he saw this image in his frying pan while he was cooking breakfast for his mother.

A farmer sees "Allah" in Arabic script in a tomato when it was sliced open.

A Sufi mystic claims to see a picture of: Jesus, Mary, some sort of Hindu non-sense, ... and even himself in the black stone which is embedded in the kaaba in Mecca.

Someone pays $28,000 for a grilled cheese sandwich auctioned on ebay.com because it appeared to some to have an image of Mary.

A star-gazer believes he sees "Allah" in Arabic in a place on the moon on some auspicious night.

A bunch of God's chosen people take off some jewelry, toss the gold into a fire and a golden calf "just happens" to come out of the fire!

A carpet stain seems to look like "Allah" (aha, you already knew it, yep, in Arabic) where a bucket which was filled with water was when the bucket is picked up off the floor.

Former famed singer, "Elvis," is seen in such things as potato chips, wood-grain, and other natural formations, not to mention the many appearances he makes in uniform.

Homeopathic remedies with virtually nothing other than sugar & water are ascribed with miraculous healing power.

Once again "Allah" shows up on the side of a goat in a birth mark.

...

Signs: They can direct to something true, merely distract temporarily, or actually be idols.

...

There's some in this world who are looking for the perfect philosophy.
Others are looking for a perfect sign.
The only sign Jesus gave was the sign of His cruel death & wonderful resurrection.
The only philosophy He offered was the love of truth & the true love.

May we also be marked with those.
