Sobering thoughts from the web.
First: A diary from a taxi driver in Utrech. Very soberying stuff.
JN498-1. STORY: A taxi ride through Utrecht
Teus Schep is a taxi driver in Utrecht, a city in the centre of the
Netherlands. One day God gave him the assignment to keep a diary for the
period of several months. This diary would be a prophetic message to the
Church. What he experienced in Utrecht is reality in many cities of the
world today. The whole diary is around 30 pages; in this edition we publish a few excerpts. The story ends with a prayer.

Here is a blogger whose got some news from Aceh that is pretty earth-shaking!! From a church-planter in the area:

How people on site see things ... questions they asked:
http://wolfhowler.typepad.com/wolfhowle r/2005/02/reflections.html
Questions are difficult to answer.
Are endless theodicies the answer?
How did God answer Job's questions?
I really need to get down thoughts I've been having about the many deaths to self that we must go through to live for the Lord Jesus.
For me, theodicy is an essential element of moment by moment faith ... Ie. listening to his voice & his people.
