PTAP: Pray Through the Arabian Peninsula

Pray for young National man who is also having trouble submitting to his father’s demands; pray that his home life would become more stable and that the half-siblings would be kinder to him. Pray also for his future; he is in his 20’s, but is trying to finish high school although his Arabic is quite weak.

Pray for more workers in a country in the western part of the Arabian Peninsula that are under increasing pressure. Pray that the Lord would open hearts in the midst terrorism and tensions.

Pray for National believers - for much grace daily as they live and work in their own society. Pray that they would grow in Christ - in their knowledge of the word, ability to worship, Christ-like character and fruit of the Spirit. Pray for God's protection on them.

Pray for a large number ex-patriot believers employed to do contract work. They will be traveling into a dangerous area but hope to spread good seeds wherever they go. Pray for safety and opportunities.

Pray for the young National couple that was just married. The woman has had much contact with Christian medical workers since her childhood. Both relate frequently with the tent makers at the hospital and are open to the gospel.

Praise the Lord for His work among the Chinese in the region. Over this past weekend, many Chinese fellowships (mostly less than a few years old) had Chinese New Year outreaches. Hundreds of Chinese professed faith in Jesus for the first time and are eager for discipleship. Pray they would become effective ambassadors for Christ.

Pray for the broadcasts from FEBA radio into our mountainous region. The National peoples are isolated from the outside world but many enjoy the Christian broadcasts in the security of their private homes. Pray that His word would penetrate their hearts and that many would come to faith.
