joyful1. Praise God for the successful meeting of over 300 local believers from around 15 different churches to worship together and pray for their country and for unity. This May 15th was truly a historic day in the life of the young Tajikistan church.
2. Pray that the excitement for prayer and unified efforts will continue in the country. Pray that God would seal the prayers prayed by his Holy Spirit and answer in mighty ways.
3. Praise God that people from all over the world were able to focus their prayers on this day for Tajikistan and for those praying inside the country. We believe that even the ability of the believers to meet and that so many came was such and amazing and specific answer! Jesus truly showed his power in this moment in answer to prayer and we set our hearts on rejoicing in Him!
4. Pray that the young believers in Tajikistan will be encouraged by what is happening. That they will become even more bold, more wise, more powerful in their witness for Him. Pray for new national leaders to be multiplied and for many Tajik believers to catch the vision of reaching their whole nation for Christ. Pray that they will receive all the responsibility and resources they need to accomplish that vision theirselves, for they are the ones who can best reach others.
5. Pray against Satan's counterattacks to once again divide the Body of Christ. We shouild expect there to be some since this time was so successful in uniting the Body of Christ. Satan knows if the Body is united, he is defenseless to stand against their prayers and efforts. So he'll use every means to attack and destroy the witness of those who have taken this stand against his kingdom of darkness.
6. Pray that the believers there will be able to stand firm as Ephesians 6 talks about and that on the day of evil they will stand firm! Pray that they will know begin to walk in a new place of victory and spiritual authority as a result of what is going on.
7. Pray that the Prince of Peace will reign over the people in Tajikistan. Recent violence has now broken out in the Eastern region of Uzbekistan. There seems to be much unrest there. Pray that God's peace would cover each precious heart and that his love would shower over them all in Central Asia.

This week's requests are so exciting! We are seeing the bending and breaking of strongholds already, and we are not even half-finished with this year of focused international prayer for Tajikistan yet. Blessings on you from Him who reigns over heaven and earth, Jesus.
