Pray for all Arabia
Please pray for unity and growth among new Muslim background believers (MBB) here. May God build His church, and work out any disunity. Trust and security are key issues MBBs face while living in an Islamic country.
Pray for the workers in a remote region of a large country in the Arabian Peninsula. They need discernment and wisdom to sort through the many National Muslims they meet. They desire to invest their limited time in true spiritual seekers.
Praise the Lord for the boldness of “R”, a new MBB living near our capital city. He has shared his faith with many of his relatives and friends. Pray that God would use him mightily in reaching his own people group. Pray for wisdom for those discipling him.
Pray for the team of tentmakers in a city in the southern, mountainous region of our country. They have several National Muslim believers and several more seekers. They are not yet connected due to many issues – different tribes, different dialects, past disputes and discord and caste-type issues of class. Pray that the Lord would knit them together into a body of believers.
Pray for the expatriate church in Qatar in the aftermath of the car bombing. Pray that they would continue to relate to the Muslim community in love – being ‘wise as serpents but innocent as doves’. Pray that this witness would be effective in challenging Muslim perception of Christians and as a result be drawn to Jesus.
There is a strategic ministry in our main city that is run by a team of Christians. The management team of this kingdom business has been in conflict over several issues. This is affecting the witness and viability of the business. Pray for those involved in resolving this conflict and that God’s name be glorified.
Praise the Lord for the small, Farsi-speaking fellowship in the Northern Emirates. Pray for their continued growth in unity as they seek God together. They need indigenous worship tools (including someone to play an instrument) and language appropriate teaching material.
