[We praise God] for those of you shocked by the brutal attack on the village evangelist in India last month, let us now praise God together! In answer to prayer, God is doing both physical and spiritual miracles.

1. All of the 6 men who tried to cut off the evangelist's feet, "to
keep him from ever coming back to our village" and cut off his hands "so he couldn't hold a Bible," have now repented and accepted Jesus.

2. Some of the militant Hindu leaders, who goaded the young men to
attack, are now paying the medical bills and seeking Jesus.

3. That village's chairman, a Hindu of the Brahmin caste, and his
family watched "God's Story." They prayed for salvation and now have opened their home for regular church meetings. For those of you who know the bondage and lies of Hinduism, note this: The same day this Brahmin received Jesus, he walked through the village with our India TGSP Director Mark, to visit each of the 6 attacker's homes. Even though two of the attackers were of the lowest caste, "untouchables," the newly saved Brahmin ENTERED ALL OF THE HOUSES!

This is never done by a Brahmin. Truly, as God said, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17

4. In the first week after the attack, close to 200 in the village
came to Jesus. They came either though the evangelist's testimony while he was being chopped at, through Mark's peace and forgiveness witnessing
delegation's visit to the village, by the subsequent visits of evangelists who came to assist their downed brother or from showings of "God's Story."

5. Indian doctors are nearly all from the high Brahmin caste. The
doctors attending the evangelist first said, "He will lose his two feet and left hand. But these doctors have not only observed a miracle of
forgiveness unfold, and have heard the Gospel from the wounded evangelist
and Mark, they have also watched a physical miracle.

Sure they operated to try to save his life and his limbs, but they kept
saying, "Do not expect anything good to happen." Well, Mr. S. is due to be discharged in a day and is regaining the use of all limbs!

6. Our gracious God spoke to these doctor's in "twos." Ten days
after the attack, Mark cut his leg and visited the same hospital for
outpatient care. A few hours later, while alone at home, he had an allergic reaction to medication. When his lifeless bloated body was later discovered, he was rushed to the hospital. The doctor told Mark's family, "It is too late." The doctor did try, and many believers prayed. An hour later, Mark came back!

These two events have shaken the medical staff to their knees! The first doctor to accept Jesus was the one who treated Mark. Also now, that man's wife, another doctor, is investigating Christianity and asking Mark questions.

Then 6 days later Mark reported, "Last night I gave G.S. 2 audio cassettes to doctors along with God's Story script, they (Brahmins doctors) said "This is the first time we are taking the Bible in our hands." (When the saw the full stories in this book they thought this is the whole Bible.) Please pray for their salvation.

"In some Hindu families very difficult to keep Bible or New Testaments
because of religion problem, but they can keep our G.S. printed script book, it is very small with many stories of the Bible, It is very good tool to win high caste people in India. This is my experience with this book I have heard and seen when I gave these books to hindu doctors in Mysore City South India."

The next day these two doctor came to church and accepted Jesus. They
testified, "We read the book and understood."

Then the next week Mark wrote. "I gave 4 books to hindu doctors also and I took 2 extra English Bible, I gave them to read, It was a great time for them and for me, God led us in special way. I started to share How Creator God created, Man and Universe, How man failed, How God shown mercy upon His body (God created man in His own Image Gen 1:27). And keep on answering their questions with the help of the Scripture, It was joy for them to read Bible first time in their lifetime.

"Finally other 4 doctors accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior,
Hallelujah!!!. Joyfully they took the G.S. Script books and they promised that they would share this great truth to their family members and their co-doctors and their patients."

PRAYER: Our Friends of "God's Story," we too thank you for your
support and prayers over these last 6 1/2 years, and specially in this past year, 2004. We expect even greater results (and challenges) in the coming days of 2005. Please continue to pray that we will rely on God's strength and wisdom to stay the course.
