PTAP: Pray Through the Arabian Peninsula
Monday, April 18, 2005
Pray for N & K, two young expatriate Arab Muslim Background Believers who have recently received death threats from relatives because of their stated faith in Jesus. One doesn’t have a job and the other was fired because of his conversion. They are under much pressure with very few options. Pray for a break through.
Pray for H, an MBB who is in need of a refugee situation for his wife and 4 children. He has had death threats, been arrested dozens of times for minor things or fabricated crimes just to make his life miserable. Pray that he would keep his hope and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and experience His triumph through these trials.
Pray for the young woman MBB who is studying in a neighboring country but has fellowship with only a few people. Pray that she would be discipled and cared for in these difficult times.
Lift up the tentmaker who was attacked recently in his country of service. It occurred in a park near their home. The family has been shaken by this act of violence and need God’s peace and mercy to move ahead.
Pray for unity amongst the believers in our country, may we all be hearing from God clearly about His way forward - particularly as the number of MBBs increase. Also, Praise God that there seems to be some improvement in the marriage problems we asked for prayer several PTAP weeks ago. Please continue to pray for them.
Pray for the Christian workers who stayed in the hospital in the south part of our country. There has been a major change in management from our NGO to the Ministry of Health. The opportunity to care for people is still great, however we are limited in what we can do. Continue to pray for open doors and opportunities to share about the Life.
