A 7+ strong tornado went up through the Junction City are to Lawson (Old Abe's Feed Barn is there, where we went before our third wedding day) a little after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2005.

2 peopl (both 83 yrs old) were killed.

Areas affected: mostly woods / clearcuts/ farms, lots of trees down, some trailers and houses along the path and the people who lived in them.

CBS called about it. One of the newspaper racks which had been chained down was ripped away from the chain. Neat slice mark across the back of the metal box. El Dorado News-Times published 3 pages of pictures.
