HOW-TO: Tips for families.

- Your mother really was right:
a. Chicken soup really is good for colds & respiratory illnesses.
b. Wash your hands before you eat & after you use the restroom.
c. Wash dirty hands to prevent the spread of illness.
d. A balanced diet with lots of fruit & veggies is healthy for you.
e. Enjoy the many gifts God has given you each day.
- Parents must protect your children's ears:
a. Don't buy buy loud toys & don't give them to someone else
b. Maximum of 80 decibals on any toy.
c. If it is too loud for you, muffle the speakers.
d. Remove batteries or never install them.
e. Get some peace & quiet? Rest your ears, rest your heart.
- There are ways for office workers to enjoy good joint health:
a. Shift your body position ever 15-30 minutes.
b. Work under minimal physical strain.
c. Every hour, do a 5 minute stretch. (A great time for prayer!)
- For eye health for computer workers:
a. Look awy from the screen.
b. Blink!! (Don't gaze.) ... Blink!
c. If you wear glasses, get new lenses.
d. Every hour, take 5 minutes to stretch & to thank the Lord.
BOTTOM LINE:
At home or at work, young or old,
remain in the presence of God at all times.
