Yes, my brother in the Lord,

Blessed is the one who reads and does as he has read. It is the commandment of the Lord to all of us, His children. Only those who search the scripture get eternal life. Thank GOD for the testimonies. As He as always does. I promise to continue in prayers thanks and goodbye.

Dear brother F.I.,

What a joy to have the Word of our Father!

Actually, it is those who have faith in Jesus Christ (Who the Holy Scriptures were written to reveal) that have eternal life.

May the Lord keep on blessing you & all those you minister to!

Peace in Christ Jesus,

And I am very sure that the prayer request through my prayer and other brethren who are commited to this same course shall bring a great revival that will draw thousands and million to His Son Jesus even this day.

PTAP - Emails RCVD / Encouragement

Good day M,

I haven't heard from you in a while and thought to myself if I don't receive an email I'm going to mail you. Just that morning I saw your mail came through. You got me worried for a while.
Thank you and keep well.

Keep praying. I've had back trouble & am having to work twice as hard @ work because of my faith in Christ & testimony. But in the process, the place is cleaner & people are hearing the Good News. Despite some opposition, my boss did commend my work.

(I work part time in a state university cafeteria ... it is a field which is white unto harvest!)

=====

My goodness, good to hear from you Mert. I thought you were doing this full time.

I remembered last night that I wanted to share something else with you also. There’s a man from our Church (In RSA and Africa we are His People Christian Church, but world-wide we are known as Every Nation)

Who is a missionary in China. I spend some time talking to him about mission work over there and also security issues. He says out of all the Countries China has the best Security in place to track down Christian emails etc. A few of their underground leaders are in prison, but he is very excited about what the Lord is doing.

There’s another thing he mentioned to me and that’s about the AP. There’s a country were some of the top officials are being discipled by some of our people and many other amazing doors that the Lord has opened.

The Lord bless you Mert. Someone at my work was murdered over last weekend, a young lady. I didn’t know what to say as she also lost her father and mother while she was younger, what the family must think.

Then it came to me how above all people in the world, the Lord loves them the most, He gave His Son for them and wants good to happen to them and not evil. The same for the AP, and the Lord knows how to work His plan.

Keep well,

N.dT.

Dear Abdul

Thank you for this ministry that you regularly post. I look forward to your requests and testimonies each week. I also am glad to be praying for you, as you share your needs with us. May the Lord bless you, give you wisdom and skill as you study, and fill your heart with His joy.

Dear Mr & Mrs. Sparks,

Thanks for writing!! Abdul Kalimatullah actually means "Servant of the Word of God" in Arabic & in the Quran, Jesus is once called "Kalimatullah" so to Muslims, it is intended to clearly indicate & prepare the way for a clear discussion of Jesus.

I took the liberty of adding you to the prayer letter I send out to family & friends & supporters, as you seemed willing to support us with prayer. Thanks, this means so much. While I am not always sure what is ahead, the Lord does & He is good.

BTW: I spend most of my time in the USA ... the requests that are sent are generally from the Arabian Peninsula from all 7 countries & from a diverse array of my co-laborers in the Lord.

Peace,

Mert,

Thanks for your daily exhortations (Hebrews 3:13). Here is one from Richmond VA friends:

A lady, on the bus, named M., is a great reader of books. She has started on one about a defrocked Baptist preacher from Staunton, VA. Being a baptist preacher myself I was interested, I asked what sin he had committed to be defrocked. She said "Accused of adultery."

I mentioned:
King David -- guilty of Adultery and murder
Joseph, Old Testament -- not guilty
Scarlet Letter preacher -- guilty

Then I said 1 John 1:7, "... and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin."

She said she just did not understand that fact.

I said 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

I said David confessed his sin before God alone and is in heaven. I told her it had happened to me: I am forgiven of my sin.

Pray for M.

I love you,
M.O.

... If we have peace, we do not need to be afraid of "stepping on toes." We simply speak the truth in a loving way. Some people will try to avoid the truth. But if they are hungry, eventually they will taste & see. When they really start to digest the truth, they will be changed, as we are: from glory to glory. Kind words crush cruelty till kindness returns.

Peace,

I wanted to reply to your e-mail to say it was very interested reading. You asked a question about the Muslims. I believe (this is me talking,
67 yrs. old and serving God in my own ministry of prayer warrior's.) the reason they are hard to receive Our Lord is they get under condemnation when they see the peace we have with Jesus. They have been taught all their life to hate us and yet eventually with much prayer and perseverance they eventually come to the light; as they watch you and I.

In the USA, I worked in an office and a Muslim worked there. He was an
American with high intellect. Yet, I talked to him about Christ as that
is my life and he finally had to quit and go somewhere else. Later, I knew what was wrong.

When we think we aren't touching other's for Christ, eventually we see
them wanting to know more. A little each time. We love you and are praying for you.

Sincerely,
J.H.

REQUEST FOR TRANSFER
Author Unknown
Jan 21, 2006
To: Commander and Chief Spiritual Armed Forces, Jesus Christ

Dear Lord:

I am writing this to You to request a transfer to a desk job. I herewith present my reasons:

I began my career as a private, because of the intensity of the battle You have quickly moved me up in the ranks. You have made me an officer and given me a tremendous amount of responsibility. There are many soldiers and recruits under my charge. I am constantly being called upon to dispense wisdom, make judgments, and find solutions to complex problems. You have placed me in a position to function as an officer, when in my heart I know I have only the skills of a private. I realize that You have promised to supply all I would need for the battle.

But Sir, I must present You a realistic picture of my equipment. My uniform, once so crisp and starched, is now stained with tears and blood of those I have tried to assist. The soles of my boots are cracked and worn from the miles I have walked trying to enlist and encourage the instructed troops. My weapons are marred, tarnished and chipped from constant battle against the enemy.

Even the Book of Regulations I was issued has been torn and tattered from endless use. The words are now smeared. You have promised You would be with me throughout, but when the noise of the battle is so loud and the confusion is so great, I can neither see nor hear You.

I feel so alone. I'm tired. I'm discouraged. I have Battle Fatigue. I would never ask You for a discharge. I love being in Your service. But I humbly request a demotion and transfer. I'll file papers or clean latrines. Just get me out of the battle … please, Sir.

Your Faithful, but tired,

Warrior.

=====

To: Faithful, but tired, Soldier, Spiritual Armed Forces
Location: The Battlefield
SUBJECT: Transfer

Dear Soldier:

Your request for transfer has been denied. I herewith present My reasons:

You are needed in this battle. I have selected you, and I will keep My Word to supply your need. You do not need a demotion and transfer. (You'd never cut it on latrine duty.) You need a period of "R&R" (Renewal and Rekindling). I am setting aside a place on the battlefield that is insulated from all sound and fully protected from the enemy. I will meet you there and I will give you rest. I will remove your old equipment and “make all things new.” You have been wounded in the battle, My soldier. Your wounds are not visible, but you have received grave internal injuries.

You need to be healed. I will heal you. You have been weakened in the battle. You need to be strengthened. I will strengthen you and be your strength. I will instill in you confidence and ability. My Words will rekindle within you and renewed love, zeal and enthusiasm. Report to Me tattered and empty. I will refill you.

Compassionately,
Your Commander-in-Chief, Jesus Christ

PRAYER
“Lord, free me from all covetousness and from attachment to possessions. May I wholly desire you as my treasure and portion. Help me to make good use of the material blessings you give me that I may use them generously for your glory and for the good of others.”

Greetings to you in the name of the Lord. We thank God for what He has been doing through you in the Arabian Peninsula.

The Kingdom Projects(TKP) is a mission organization that is committed to reaching the nations with the gospel through our vocations. Recognising the vital role of intrecession in world missions, for years we have been mobilising the church here for individual and corporate intercessions for the unreached nations especially the 10/40 windows.

In view of our conviction along with you that God will save Arabian Peninsula through the prayers of His people, we hereby request for materials to aid the mobilization for prayers. We are convinced that updates on the state of harvest in the Arabian Peninsula, and materials like prayer calenders, video documentaries etc. will go a long way to strengthen the prayer force here. Thanks for your cooperation.

PTAP: Email received - encouragement

Dear Abdul [MJH]

We have been receiving your newsletters
for some time now.

The news media has created in us an attitude
that negates what is really happening in the M.E.
We get the impression that all Muslims are part of
a jihad to destroy all Christians and that it is too
dangerous to venture into these countries.

Your informative and encouraging newsletters
redress the misinformation. With your pictures
of what is really happening, our faith is stirred to
pray, believing that they are being answered.

God will continue to bless your ministry.

Letter: The power of the Word - Russia

Dear Bob Hosken,

If the day has come when the lame are welcome to the table in Moscow, then why can we not trust the Lord for the day to soon come when saints in Azerbaijan will be able to have a place to worship the Lord? David welcomed lame Mephibosheth to the table as a sign of the Lord's covenant love ... and a generation later, the people had a place to worship the Lord for generations. We just have to keep the priorities right!

BTW: The Lord is beginning a small but significant work of ministry among some disabled children in Tibetan regions. Please join in praying for this to continue to completion.

Having read through the Bible now some 20+ times & counting, I dare say that there is never a time through that the Lord does not teach me something. Does it have authority? Well, let's just say that I've seen the Lord use His Word to change the decisions of local governments, to give hope to the poor & distraught, to set free the demonized, to chastize those with multiple PhD's, to guide the young, and to turn back the raging storms of the sea (literally). For myself, I am alive by the mercy of God revealed through His Word. He is my Defence, my Life, my Supplier, my Teacher, my Hope, my Peace, and my Passover. Jesus is Lord. I am a sinner, the worst. I need Him all day every day!

Peace,

Mert Hershberger
