It is obvious but often overlooked. Missions and missionaries depend on prayer support.

When you pray for those in mission work, do you struggle with what to pray? Maybe you have so many things to pray for that it is difficult to focus on the real issues. We don't just need to pray longer and harder, we need to pray smarter. Several valuable resources highlight prayer topics for missionaries and their families. As workers from various nationalities move into many Arab-Muslim lands for service, they are faced with several issues about which we can join them in prayer. While we pray for their fruitfulness in ministry and protection from attacks, we also want to remember their children and the struggles they face. Being not only foreign, but also Christian can make a child stand out in school, and he needs a lot of reenforcement from his family to remain strong in the face of ridicule. Pray for these special children, that they will grow strong in their walk with Jesus and be able to be bright lights with their peers and school mates. Pray for their protection in such challenging environments.
