Q&A: Islam as conquest: What merits a place in Islam?

A friend asked about "Alexander/Iskandar" the pagan Grecian conqueror being mentioned in the Quran. A Muslim acquaintance had never heard of such.

===
A. Are Abraham Lincoln, Lenin & Stalin, or Columbus mentioned in the Q
document, in the same conquistadorian vein of reasoning? Ah, but they
are post-Mo folks (though I doubt Islam would have reached the
Americans without Columbus).

B. Are any Chinese leaders mentioned in the Q document?

C. What about Indian leaders / conquerors that spread regional
ideologies before Islam hit the subcontinent?

Rhetorical questions ... but the idea of conquest as Islam / Islam as
conquest seems to keep the problem in focus rather than providing any
solution.

Here are some more sober questions:
1. How does one conquer the human heart & tongue, and their fallen tendencies?

2. What does this reveal of the uniquely Goodness of the News which we share?

When a soul savors the Flavor of forgiveness,
it knows the Father's favor in the Lord.
This is the kind of salt that
removes the rot & makes right.

MEMO: Contradictions within Islam - the Quran's Collapse.

A Muslim may agree with you and yet not be telling the truth as to agreeing. Therefore, PRAY about these things & for the Lord Jesus to be honored. He is able.

Surah 9:111 (Allah makes a pact with you, exchanging you
for paradise, so he can use you to kill others)

Surah 9:5 (fight until they observe prayers)

Surah 8:39 (fight until all the world is under Islam)

Why?

This is contrary to Surah 2:256 (no compulsion in religion).

Why?

This murderous nature of the Quran is contrary to the 10 Commandments.

Why?

They have a "no-name" god: Allah (the god) instead of Jehovah, or Yahweh.

Why?

If the Quran confirms what went before, as Surah 3:3 says.

Why the contradictions?

And if there can be no change in God's word (Surah 10:64; 6:115)

Why the lack of consistency or improvement?

Sincerly in Christ,

Shame in Islam

What is Haya? Haya itself is derived from the word hayat which means life. But that is something that we will get into later on in this essay. This term covers a large number of concepts. In English, it may be translated as modesty, shyness, self-respect, bashfulness, shame, honor, etc. ..."

Our Lord! And grant us that which you have promised to us by Your messengers and save us from shame on the Day of Judgement. Verily You never fail to fulfill Your promise. (3:194)

O Allah! Lord of Power (and Rule) Thou giveth Power to whom Thou pleaseth and Thou strippeth off power from whom Thou pleaseth, Thou endueth with honor whom Thou pleaseth and Thou bringeth low whom Thou pleaseth; in Thy hand is all Good. Verily over all things Thou hast power. (3:26)

like."
