You know what really bugs me about the National Guard surrounding the Dome, walking through the mall with their automatics? They are weekend warriors. They aren't as well-trained on their weapons and there have been mistakes made in the past because of this.
This means that we are actually less safe than if they were not there!
My next step in setting up LDAP is automating most of this by creating an .deb for it.
In particular, I need to get libldap with ssl and kpasswd support as well as a few extra schemas and the setup particular to everybody.org hosts.
