When I sent payment through PayPal for the server tonight, I discovered that I didn't have to wait for the money to go to the PayPal account from the bank — I could have transfered it directly from the bank via PayPal.
Got the ldap-backend for Jabber working today. Soon, you, too, will be able to have an @everybody.org chat account. When I told Jeff about this, his cynical reply was Yeah, but everybody.org isn't stable enough for a chat server. I guess he hasn't tried jabber.org very long. But he cheered up when I mentioned the new server.
